Russian state corporation Rostec has announced the delivery of a new batch of TM-140 all-terrain vehicles to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations (EMERCOM).
The vehicles were assigned to the regional search and rescue unit in Krasnoyarsk, with operations planned in the Taimyr region and along the coastal areas of the Arctic Ocean.
According to Rostec, the TM-140 vehicles are designed to operate in extreme conditions where there are no roads—only untouched snow, marshy terrain, rivers, and ravines. In these areas, 80% of rescue operations rely on tracked vehicles.
